LERSA Pays Courtesy Visit to Lagos State Commissioner of Police

The Lekki Estates Residents and Stakeholders Association (LERSA) today
paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare
Moshood Jimoh, at the Command Headquarters.
The purpose of the visit was to formally welcome and familiarise with
the new Commissioner, and to further strengthen collaboration between LERSA and
the Lagos State Police Command in ensuring safety and security across the Lekki
Peninsula.
During the visit, the Chairman of the LERSA Security Committee, Hon.
Prince Adewale Taorid Ojora, shared updates on the Association’s ongoing
security efforts. He revealed that the Committee is developing a strategic
security blueprint designed specifically for the Lekki region and discussed
several initiatives currently being implemented to enhance safety and community
responsiveness.
The President of LERSA, Alhaji (Chief) Sulyman Bello, expressed
sincere appreciation for the unwavering efforts of the police in maintaining
order within the Lekki corridor. He emphasised that the visit was not only to
extend greetings but also to foster a stronger working relationship with the
Commissioner and his team.
In his response, *CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh* welcomed the LERSA
delegation warmly and commended their proactive approach to community safety.
He assured the Association of the Police Command’s readiness to support
collaborative efforts and emphasised that his doors would always remain open to
LERSA.
The engagement ended with mutual commitment to continuous partnership
and communication in the shared goal of creating a safer and more secure Lekki
peninsula.
