On the 16th of April, 2024, the Executive Council of Lekki Estates Residents and Stakeholder Association paid a courtesy / working visit to Eng. Tokunbo Ajanaku, the newly appointed General Manager of the Lagos State Public Works Corporation. The purpose of the visit was to congratulate the newly appointed highly cerebral GM and also to express gratitude for the ongoing efforts of LSPWC within the Lekki corridor and to ultimately fortify the collaborative relationship between LERSA and LSPWC.
During the meeting, the General Manager Eng. Tokunbo Ajanaku acknowledged the importance of the visit and extended appreciation to the President of LERSA and the entire members of the LERSA Executive Council for their steadfast support, in different challenging circumstances.
The GM of LSPWC promised that his team will always ensure that the road network across the Lekki Peninsula receives the best of attention at all times, and most especially during the current rainy season and beyond.
Other highlights of the discussions included the progress updates on significant projects such as the Lekki Regional Road, 4th Mainland Bridge, the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, and the Lagoon Highway. Eng. Ajanaku assured that advanced plans are in place for these endeavours, with tangible outcomes expected within the next couple of years.
In his closing remarks, The President of LERSA, Alhaji Sulyman Bello reiterated LERSA's commitment to remaining accessible and cooperative with the LSPWC and Lagos State Government in general.
